  • Florida’s natural springs are true local treasures, but they face growing threats from groundwater withdrawal and nitrate pollution. Protecting them starts right in our own backyards—and you can make a real difference!

Come explore the gardens and learn how to transform your home landscape into a Springs Friendly Yard. During this special presentation, you'll discover how to:

    • Reduce Groundwater Reliance: Simple ways to capture rainwater and minimize irrigation.

    • Eliminate Chemical Fertilizers: Keep harmful nitrate-nitrogen out of the Floridan Aquifer and our local drinking water.

    • Cultivate Florida Native Plants: Choose beautiful, drought-tolerant native species that support local pollinators and thrive naturally.

This presentation is FREE with your regular garden admission, making it the perfect time to enjoy the trails and pick up practical tips to protect our water resources.
