PROJECT WILD & AQUATIC WILD WORKSHOP

Join us for an immersive workshop hosted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) that combines the best of Project WILD and Aquatic WILD programs! This 6-hour session will be led by Ben Hines, the Project WILD State Coordinator, and will offer a comprehensive exploration of wildlife conservation and aquatic ecology.

Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program focusing on wildlife and habitat. It aims to develop awareness, knowledge, and skills for informed decision-making and responsible behavior towards wildlife and the environment. Learn more about Project WILD here.

Aquatic WILD takes the successful Project WILD format and applies it to aquatic environments, emphasizing the importance of water and aquatic wildlife. This program provides targeted activities and professional training focused on aquatic ecology. Discover more about Aquatic WILD here.

The workshop includes all necessary curriculum materials, lunch, and day admission to the gardens.
